The journey of THERA WOMEN

On the island of Thera — known today as Santorini — our vision was refined. More than a destination, Thera became a symbol: of strength rediscovered, of femininity layered and redefined, and of a new beginning. It was here that the soul of THERA WOMEN leaned fully into its form.

THERA WOMEN is not just about wedding dresses. It is about creating pieces that embody ritual transition, intention, and identity. Each dress is envisioned not only as something special to wear, but as a vessel of memory and meaning.

A notebook as the first thread

Long before the first dress was designed, a red Moleskine notebook held my words that would later guide the brand. Fragments of thought became a map toward something greater: the idea that strength, when met with kindness and care, transforms into creation. This philosophy remains woven into every THERA WOMEN creation.

Pilgrimage to Santorini

The connection between Thera and Santorini was more than linguistic coincidence. It was a call to explore. With the first collection in hand, the journey to the island became inevitable — part personal pilgrimage, part creative impulse.

On the island, I let myself be embraced by my dresses. I breathed in the salty sea breeze and bathed in the sun's warm embrace. In the dark, I climbed the mountain to the ruins of ancient Thera and watched the sun rise above the horizon.

Among the volcanic cliffs and whitewashed towns, the dresses revealed themselves for the first time. During the photoshoots, locals and tourists mistook me for a bride, offering their congratulations. Rather than correct them, I eventually embraced their words— understanding, in that moment, that I was in a way marrying a vision, a future, a story yet to unfold.
